I don’t know about some of you, but the holidays always make me reflect on the highs and lows of the previous year. This year, I had a lot of both, starting with the loss of my girl, Luca. A month ago, I experienced a massive high when I adopted this little girl that I renamed Luca. (Her original name was Karen. There was no way I wasn’t going to change it.) Look closely at the photos below. Luca and Luna both have the same mole under their eye. I didn’t notice that until after I’d taken her home. I like to think it was Luca’s stamp of approval.
I’m going to make myself a little vulnerable here. I’ve felt not-so-great about my content's lack of engagement lately. It’s hard to go from feeling like what you’re saying is resonating with people to feeling like no one is listening. As I plan the content for the coming months, I want to prioritize making content that provides value to you.

On another note, I think some people were a bit thrown off by the many changes on the platforms over the years. There was Patreon, Mighty Network, Substack, back to Patreon—all with different pricing and content. I was confused at which to subscribe.
I love when listener letters are answered, or commentary on real life situations from various sources (e.g. articles). I’ve learned so much from you and Sarah through these means. They’re real life examples of what to expect or how to react.
Discussions on dating behaviour patterns, how to react when various situations arise, are also interesting and helpful. (Did you ever think about writing this into a book? Real life situations with commentary and a check list.)
Not so much into television or true crime commentary.
