Is Her Ex Gaslighting Her?

Dated boyfriend for over 6 months. Spent 3 week long vacations together too! He went away for a long graduation weekend. The week before he left he gave minimal contact and sent me a pic of him boarding the plane. He then didn’t call or text he was back.  I get a random text that he would return my stuff because he hadn’t heard from me for a week and broke up with me. I saw him on match that day! Is that gaslighting? Covert Narcissism or just a jerk move!

Before you react, confirm that he didn’t send you texts while away that were never delivered. By confirm I mean get evidence. If he gives an excuse why he can’t send you a screenshot of said texts, fuck’em. He’s lying.

Even if he did send those texts, someone who cares about you wouldn’t immediately jump to anger. They’d first wonder if you were okay. They’d try other methods of contact. They wouldn’t just send a text, not get a response, and decide to dump you.
