Good morning, my Nuggets…
On Mondays, my Mighty Network Group does a weekly check-in post. People share what’s going on in their lives. Sometimes it’s about dating. Most times, it isn’t. I think I’ll start doing a check-in post here as well. I’ll start.
Moments ago, I received a text that another senior client, Pepper, had passed away. She was supposed to stay with me for a week at the end of September. I had all kinds of puzzles and games planned to help with her cognitive decline. This is the fourth pet client loss in less than a year. The third in less than three months.
I love caring for seniors. I truly do, but the constant grief isn't good for my depression. Eventually, I'm going to have to assess whether or not this is healthy for me long-term. Things haven't been great lately. I know it will pass. Thankfully. Not everyone can see the light at the end of the tunnel, so I'm grateful for the ability to do so.
I'll be starting my Canine Behavioral Consultant Program next week. I've been diving into Scrivener (a writing platform for aspiring novelists) and getting thoughts down for a fiction novel. I've been teaching myself video editing so I can make video content. For me, work is therapy. It's how I cope with emotional turmoil.
I’m sorry for unloading. I hope you are all well and look forward to hearing what's happening with you.
Oh, and if you haven’t seen my 60-second recap of the And Just Like That Finale…

Don't apologize! Well, I am feeling sick. Depressed and financially strapped. Not sure how things will come together. I work 2 jobs. I am not sleeping well, not sure why. Maybe you could write your book about a woman that takes care of dogs and an adventure awaits...or something like that. So sorry to hear about the doggie passing. It is hard. Take care of yourself.
You mentioned about interviewing people. There is an awesome wine on TikTok that drove from Texas to Costa Rica to move. She runs a travel service that helps people who want to move. Toni Travels.
